Review | AQUTOP Perfect Clean Cleansing Foam

Having to be on a journey of discovering Asian Beauty (AB) brands for more than 2 years now, I've tried many kinds of first cleansers for my skincare routine but I just realised that none of the cleansers has made into a review. The last cleanser I talked about was from Simple, before that, was from ST. Ives and throughout these recent years, just to mention a few, I've tried cleansers from Missha, The Saem, Innisfree, The Face Shop, Hada Labo, Shiseido, and Bio-essence. AQUTOP is a brand-new to me. I've never heard the name mentioned before among my skincare buddies, probably because it isn't really a big name in Korean Beauty.

PART II | J.One Jelly Pack - A Sisley Double Tenseur Moisturizing Gel Dupe?

J.One is a Korean beauty brand that is very new to me although I've been seeing a lot of Western beauty gurus on Youtube have been talking about the famous Jelly Pack a.k.a "glue" primer many months ago. Although it was launched in 2015, it was brought back into the spotlight by NikkieTutorials because she had it on her June's favourite. Kathleen Lights, Tati Westbrook, Christen Dominique and Liah Yoo also talked about it in their videos. I also know for the fact that people have been comparing this product to Sisley Paris Double Tenseur Moisturizing Gel because of its texture and face lifting effect.

Thanks to a recent affiliate programme I signed up to, I was given the opportunity to review 3 of the J.One best selling products. Secret Garden happens to be my all-time favourite K-drama and despite it was aired in 2010, I would always recommend it to my friends because the drama has an interesting mystical plot of body-swapping moments between a chaebol businessman and a stuntwoman. Little that I know, Ha Ji-won, who plays Gil Ra-im in the drama created her own beauty brand called J.One and it was launched in June 2015. All of the products from the company are focussing on skin firming, hydrating, revitalizing and anti-ageing since the actress' skin herself is looking super youthful despite being 39 years old this year.

Innisfree No Sebum Powder is one of the brand's most popular makeup items. It gets amazing 5-star rating reviews on its official site and people have been talking about it since forever. I've always been fond of shopping my K-Beauty stuffs from Althea.kr. I reckon part of it is down to their wide selections of beauty brands and I really do think they hit the nail on the head when it comes to affordable pricing. Happy New Year you guys! Another year has flown by, meaning that there were so many beauty favourites I discovered last year and it was really hard for me to pick just three. One thing for sure, 2016 was the year where I had been paying more attention to skincare rather than makeup.

If you're into korean beauty, COSRX really needs no introduction. This brand has made quite the name for itself especially among redditors in Asian Beauty community. It is said to be more popular among Westerners rather than netizens of its own land. I kinda have to agree with this because I've noticed that some of the korean beauty vloggers on Youtube only started mentioning about COSRX recently.

As someone who's also riding the COSRX boat and been loving it so far, I thought I would share with you guys more about the brand as in what are my thoughts, how did I first found out about it, products I'm currently using and also where to get them. This is one of those blog posts where I decided to write it in more santai way a.k.a not the typical English reviews like I always do. I'm going to throw in a lot of Malay words here without them being italic.
