Hansaegee Nature Aloe AC Clean Bubble Cleanser
The face cleanser department in my skincare collection can sometimes be overlooked since cleanser isn't something I'd invest a lot of thoughts before purchasing any of them. Let it be affordable or expensive, drugstore or high-end, cleanser to me is merely just a cleanser; something that will stay on my face for 2-3 minutes before going down the drain.
Review + Ingredient Analysis | Sanny & Joleen Lifestyle Antioxidant Serum
If you follow me on my Instagram for beauty content, you may already know that recently I've included a Malaysian-made skincare serum into my routine. This is not a first-time experience of me using a local product because I've used a couple of them in the past (mostly from the brand House of Healin that's known for their gamat/sea cucumber skincare product). Do I use any local skincare product in recent years? I don't, merely because I have gotten surrounded by Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese brands that are easily available almost everywhere. But, that doesn't mean that I need to stop supporting and featuring brands that come from my homeland; 100% made and founded in Malaysia.
Review | Sendayu Tinggi Doll Skin Foundation
As I'm in the process of cleaning my makeup collection before the end of this month, I realised that I have yet to review this foundation. I tested it some time ago, made notes and saved my writing as a draft without actually working on publishing it. So here you go my fellow Malaysian beauty babes, my takes on the Sendayu Tinggi Doll Skin Foundation. Do I like it? It is worth to purchase? Read more after the jump.
Acne Spot Treatment | A Review of Nixoderm Ointment
Hi guys, I'm back again with a skincare review. I first became interested in this locally made acne cream from the brand Nixoderm after Not A Haul mentioned about it on one of her Instagram posts. Acne and pimple aren't really my skin major concern and I've only ever used two spot treatments prior to this- Nuteen Acne Away Gel and Tea Tree Oil from The Bodyshop. I wouldn't say I have much expertise in treating this kind of skin problem, but I will review the Nixoderm Ointment to the best of my abilities.
Review | Good Virtues Co. Brightening Facial Toner
This toner was pretty much of an impulse purchase I made earlier of the year simply because I was swayed by its packaging. It is from the brand Good Virtues Co., a halal certified brand owned by a local company called Satin Straits Snd. Bhd. They centred "Habbatus Sauda Oil" (Black Seed Oil) as their key ingredient. All of their products are claimed to be halal, vegetarian, cruelty-free, and free from alarming ingredients such as SLES, ALES, mineral oil, parabens as well as synthetic colourants.
The toner I have here is said to be a "Brightening Facial Toner". I don't think I've ever bought any brightening skincare before, so this is indeed my first experience with brightening product. So.... What it is? How it is marketed? Below is a graphic information taken from their official website.
Haul | Get to Know Sendayu Tinggi Cosmetics
Earlier of this month, I attended Hijabi Doll Collection Launching Event at one of Sendayu Tinggi outlet in Melaka. It's a part of their road tour event throughout Malaysia in 2015. For those of you who's wondering, Sendayu Tinggi is one of the popular Malaysian brand when it comes to Beauty and Health Product. I remember seeing the founder of the company actively promoted their slimming and skin care products on TV3.
I feel so bad for not knowing Sendayu Tinggi released their own cosmetic line years ago. Then again I wasn't really into makeup and trying out new things from various brands until last year, kan? :) To be honest, I've never really noticed their products or have the urge trying out anything from their cosmetic line until I discovered Puan Yatie's Instagram and started watching her makeup tutorials on Youtube. Also, if you haven't notice, ST Professional Makeup is now one of the brand that can be easily find in Watson.
Without further ado, here's my haul from the Hijabi Doll Event.
