Haul | Althea.kr - Korean Beauty, Cosmetics & Skincare

A haul I've been eagerly waiting for and it reached me last week. I'm excited to share this with you guys!
(also, NOPE! this is not a sponsored review)

As some of you may have known, I'm not a huge Korean cosmetics and skincare fan but recently I decided to start looking into them and that was the reason why I started off by making a wishlist. Today I'll be introducing a newly discovered site called Althea.kr. It's a online shopping site based in South Korea aiming to bring k-beauty products directly from suppliers to SEAsians consumers (yay to lower prices!).

The site offers a wide range of brands and if you check it on weakly bases, you will notice that they keep adding more goodies from the k-beauty world. Not to forget a lot of them aren't readily available in Malaysian stores such as Banila Co, IOPE, Missha, Piolang, the SAEM, and Too Cool For School. Even for the brands that are available in Malaysia, the prices would be double from Althea Korea.

Date Ordered: 01/08/2015
Despatched (South Korea): 03/08/2015
Arrived (Malaysia): 05/08/2015 - Handed over to TAQBIN for local delivery
Date Received : 06/08/2015

5 HARI JE WEI. CEPAT TAK CEPAT? My order came in very quicky which pleased me the most! The shipping is free if your order more than RM150. Since I placed mine during their 1 month opening promotion period, I paid nothing for the shipping and I was lucky enough to save RM30 by using their coupon code. Hehe, smart move eh?

My items arrived in a box wrapped with a pink plastic. The items inside were all nicely bubble wrapped except for my free sample. Yes, dapat free sample lagi tu.

Anyway..
What did I order?
Admittedly, it was rather a small order - only 3 items which amounted to RM168, not including the RM30 off I used. I thought of sticking to my previous k-beauty wishlist, but eh, I was not doing good at it. Haha. It was a last minute decision before I removed Banila Co. Zero Cleanser from my order as I really want to finish up using 3 big bottles of micellar waters that I have inside my drawer. Also no skincare this time. You know me, I'm kind of loyal to certain brands and rarely change my everyday routine.

I've never really been this excited to get a foundation in my life but I finally own myself an air cushion. Did I go for Laneige? Unfortunately no although the price is much cheaper (RM125) at althea.kr compare to our local store (RM150). I chose the one from IOPE. It's the Air Cushion XP Cover in the shade 23. If you don't know the history, IOPE is the first South Korea brand who came up with the air cushion concept back in 2008. Also, it has more positive reviews than Laneige Pore Control, so... why not! :)

Next is the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder. Jen Kim from meejmuse on Youtube raved about this product in one of her video that made me decided to try. Pony, 2NE1 CL's makeup artist also uses this to control the oil on her t-zone. I'm currently using the finishing powders from Tarte and Collection Cosmetics, while both of them are good, I'm curious to see how this Innisfree powder would work in mattifying my complexion.

I also picked up a lipstick from the same brand called Creammellow Lipstick in the shade Latte Brown. I will update you guys once I have tried and tested on this product, also SINCE WHEN IEYRA IS TURNING INTO A LIPSTICK-KIND-OF-GIRL? OTL. but hey, I couldn't help myself of getting one, the price is cheap compare to here! ;p

As for the free sample, they decided to throw in a full range of Water Bank Range from Laneige consists of gel cream, moisture emulsion, skin refiner and essence. Banyak kot! Terima kasih althea.kr nak bagi jugak untuk order yang tak seberapa ini. ;P I was puzzled at first okay when I saw it inside my box, lol.

Well, that's it for my korean cosmetics mini haul. I haven't had the chance to try any of these out, but I will once I'm done taking pictures for blogging purpose, lol. Overall, I'm impressed with Althea Korea and definitely will buy more from them in the future. They have listed all the ingredients on their site and that to me is really convenient as some of the products are non-halal.

Create an account with them is easy peasy and even the buying process are easy too. Payment can be made through Paypal or bank transfer! Also, you might want to check their Facebook page [link] regularly as you could find surprising deals and discount. Please do expect some reviews coming in the future! Althea Korea is currently available to those in Malaysia & Singapore but I'm sure there'll be more countries in the future.
For more info visit althea.kr [link].

I'm going to end this post off with one of my favourite k-pop song at the moment.
Hah, nak jugak kan
Till then! :D

I like how they ship their products!

I wish it was as quick for me to get things from Korea. Sometimes it can take up to two or three weeks, if not longer.

Are Korean Beauty products easily find in Canada? The knock-offs I tried several beauty products from Korea before but they just didn't work for me, but right now I'm willing to give them another try~ :D
