Rainbow Highlighter? IN2IT Got You Covered!

Hellooooo.
About few weeks ago a lot of popular Instagram beauty based account and beauty gurus on Youtube beginning to buy the rainbow highlighter (Prism) from Bitter Lace Beauty. It's the latest trend that takes the beauty world by storm and the hype is definitely real to the point that Prism is sold out instantly.

When it first came out on my Twitter timeline as a meme, I remember saying things like "oh, it's beautiful but why would you want these kind of shades as your highlight?" Of course, since most of the time we all find highlighters with silver, rose gold and gold undertones, but Prism right here all come with a spectrum of rainbow coloured.

Now you see WHO'S BUYING? hehe. Prism is expensive (RM90.95 per pan) and not readily available locally. However, if you still want to jump into the rainbow highlighter bandwagon, IN2IT offers almost a similar thing to Prism and it's already out there on shelves since 2014.

IN2IT Pearl Powder Bricks in BEB 03 Radiance.

Already known being a dupe for Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick due to how its look, IN2IT does have its own rainbow shimmery powder consists of purple, blue, red, green and yellow bricks. Immediately, upon swatching the product in store, I have fell in love with the colours when they are all combined together but as a stand alone, the shadows are not quite impressive as I thought they would be.

and by that I mean I probably wouldn't be using this as an eyeshadow. As highlighter tho, it totally works. IN2IT Pearl Powder Bricks retails at RM25.90 for 8.5g and you can find it easily at major pharmacies such as Guardian and Watsons.

Here's the list of ingredients if any of you're interested.

Talc, Mica, Phenyl Trimethicone, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Squalane, Diisostearyl Malate, Polybutene, Butylene Glycol, Boron Nitride, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Zinc Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Tricaprin, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-100 Stearate, Ethylparaben, PEG-40 Castor Oil, Xanthan Gum, Silica, Sodium Cetearyl, Sulfate Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Disodium EDTA, Propylparaben, BHT, Tocopheryl Acetate, Bisabolol, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Tin Oxide, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Potassium Hydroxide, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Maltodextrin, Alumina, Potassium Phosphate, Methicone, BHA, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, May Contain (+,-) Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Chromium Hydroxide, Red 30 Lake, Ultramarines, Yellow 5 Lake, Chromium Oxide Green, Carmine.

None of my pictures does any justice, but the swatches come out really beautifully in real life. They remind me of this Paddle Pop Rainbow Ice Cream!!! And by that, yes it delivers the rainbow effect.

I still find the best result is when the colours are combined by swirling around the pan. The red is overwhelming others but I'm okay as long as it doesn't leave me any "bruise" looking shade. If you wouldn't want to ruin the colour bricks, avoid mixing them up.

I can't really say much about the lasting power and its blendability since I just recently got it and haven't been able to experiment with it too much yet. Nevertheless this is such a fun product to try on!

This sounds wonderful! I wasn't too sure of how a rainbow highlighter would look, but I love the look of all of the shades ♥

I have mixed feelings with such products. I tried rainbow base before and it works well on my skin, but as a highlighter... I am not sure how it will turn out :D

Yeah, I came to know about this trend too but personally I hate it. Neutral highlighting is much better than smearing on weird rainbow shades. Though, people have their own tastes but I am certainly not taken by this trend. Great post :)

I think your photos are gorgeous! <3
Personally I'm not crazy about the rainbow highlight, simply because I know I'd rarely use it. However this one does look more wearable than the one on IG.
