Product Empties | #3 (2014)

I've been trying to make my way through my beauty stash this time and used up product I already own before buying the new ones. As you can see, it's quite a pile this time, with so many body cares and product samples.

Sephora Orange Blossom Creamy Body Wash (RM22.00) is good and lovely shower cream but I don't think it's worth the money since you'll be getting only 140ml of product. I received this for free as a welcome gift from Sephora.

Meanwhile, Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying shower gel (RM48.00) is one of the best shower gel that I've ever used! It lathers well on loofa with just a little amount of product and it's also cleanses the skin well.  One pump goes a long way!

I bought Naturals Refreshing Lime Blossom & Verbena Shower Gel from my nearest Avon when they were having a weekend sale, so it was around 13 bucks for 5 bottles. It's a decent shower gel with good lathering and heavily fragranced. I still have another bottle of this with me but I'm going to have a break from it as I've got a few shower gel on the go that need to be finished first.

BioSea Dead Sea Mud Mask lasted me forever. It was a gift from friend and I've been using it more for an entire year! Since my friend bought it from her visit to Jordan, I don't think I can get this anywhere in my country. The product possesses properties that may help eczema, acne and several others skin problems. I've this throughout my body only, but not hair and face as it suggested to, because as soon as I put this mask on, I can feel my skin burning and immediately have to wash it out.

Next, a conditioner from Dove - Intense Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner (RM14.90). This product reminds me of whipping cream or topping on cakes when it being squeezed out due to it's dual colours - yellow and white, and also the opening looks like one of the nozzle used in cake decoration. I found this to be rather average.

I always trying out face washes from the drugstore, but this Simple Kind To Skin Face Wash (RM19.90) was way too gentle on me. It didn't feel like it was giving my skin a deep down cleaning, and was far from satisfying. It would probably suit those with extremely sensitive skin.

Nevertheless, there's still a product from Simple that I really, really love! I have already repurchased this Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes (RM17.90) like a million times. To me, it's so hard to find a wipe from drugstore brands that will actually takes your makeup off without burning your eyes and irritating the skin.

Moving onto makeup, I've found myself at the end of the E.L.F Eyeshadow Primer. I bought this in shade 'sheer'. It was a happy purchase, helped a lot to lock my eyeshadows in place. Unfortunately, ELF isn't available in Malaysia's market, probably it's hard for me to repurchase.

I have raved about Maybelline Mineral Healthy Natural Concealer (RM19.90) in my monthly favourite before. I have a medium-warm yellow undertone, so 02 suits my skin the best.

Received quite a lot of samples to try out during September - October. Sample are a great way to try a product before forking out for the full-sized version! Pixy Gentle & Moist Cleansing Lotion is my most favourite of all. It works like a cleansing water. Scented but doesn't irritate my skin unlike Biore Makeup Removing Facial Foam. However, I'm surprised that this Biore product able to take off waterproof eyeliner and mascara easily. I stopped using my face moisturiser from L'occitane and gave Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme a try. Unfortunately, it gave me a lot of bums on my forehead :(
I received this Sunsilk Lively Clean & Fresh in my recent magazine purchase and actually really impressed with the results. Hair looked good. I would buy this. Same goes for this set of volumizing shampoo and conditioner from System Professional (SP) that I got from my recent beauty box. I got this L'occitane Repairing Mask from the shop and wasn't really impressed with the result. I loved the shampoo version that came with this but not the conditioner. Last but not least, Brightening Essence and Precious Eye Balm from L'occitane. Both did nothing to my skin, and the latter even gave me burning sensations.

That's it. Now I can finally chuck away all of these and start collecting my rubbish all over again for my next empties post!
