Before discovering cleansing waters, I always used the typical bi-phase makeup remover. Specifically, Maybelline and Silky Girl makeup removers. Both wonderfully worked well except that they left an oily film on my eyes area and skin - very, very greasy. I also tried Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover from The Body Shop and repurchased it but the one came from my recent haul was too harsh on my delicate eyes area and left a burning sensation, I wonder if they've changed any formula. I'm currently using Simple Kind To Eyes, and I LOVE it, let me know if you want a further review on this.
After a while, I decided to try on cleansing waters. The so-called Bioderma Sensibio H2O, FINALLY available at selected Guardian outlets and Isetan KLCC, (I purchased mine from Guardian E-Store). Bioderma has always been famous within the beauty industry and the internet. It is like the mother of makeup remover. I have used it for months now and no lie, I must say it is my holy grail makeup remover. I am in love! Suits my sensitive skin the best.
Needless to say, it is expensive. I always a bit hesitate to splurge on Bioderma because in Malaysia it retails at RM70 for 250ml, which is ridiculous considering how fast you can go through it - unless I decided to go with my #feelingspendy #sorrynotsorry feels on that particular day, I would go and bought countless bottles of it. Ha-ha.
I think I have found a pretty neat dupe for Bioderma at a much lower price. It is a brand new product in town, and there are not much reviews on it. I thought I could share one!
So, HELLO. Introducing the 4-in-1 water type Purevivi Cleansing Lotion.
